Founder of Phuti Funeral Directors
The late Kgantshi Samuel Phuti Mampana PhukubjeMahlo founded Phuti Funeral Directors in 1994, having been in the Funeral Industry since 1980.
The Founder was motivated to start his own business because of the sub-standard service was given to black communities and societies at the time.
In 2001 he then diversified the business into a Group of Companies which is now called Phuti Funeral Ministry Group (PTY) LTD where we specialize in Wood Manufacturing, Granite Manufacturing and Funeral Insurance.
He was guided by his leadership in the South African Funeral Practitioner Association (SAFPA) where he was the Chairperson of the SAFPA Capricorn Region and PRO(Public Relation Officer) of SAFPA National.
